We are a full service interior design team dedicated to creating spaces that fit your lifestyle perfectly. From initial consultation to final installation, we’ll guide you through the process so you can confidently make decisions that will transform your home so you can live beautifully everyday.

Hiring a designer is a luxury and we take your investment in our services very seriously. The most important aspect of every design is our client’s experience and we believe the process should be as enjoyable and rewarding as the end result. Our specialty is new build construction, large scale renovations, and full home furnishing projects.

 
 

 OUR PROCESS

Step 1: Research

We believe communication is the key to good design! We like to kick off your project with a comprehensive research meeting where we discuss your goals and concerns, review your blueprints if you’re building, look at inspiration images, take measurements and photos, and understand how you and your family want to live in your home. This meeting can take place in our interior design studio in Glenview or in your home.

Step 2: Floor Plans & Design

Once we have an idea of how your space needs to function, we’ll create floor plan options for your room for your review. Once you say yes, we begin selecting furniture, flooring, lighting, window treatments, and decorative items to create the perfect design. For new construction and renovation projects, we’ll review your blueprints and provide suggestions to make the most of your investment.

Step 3: Presentation

You are invited to our interior design studio in Glenview for the big reveal of your new space! With either a hand drawn rendering of your proposed room or a comprehensive design board, complete with drawings, swatches, and samples, you will be able to visualize the beautiful transformation that awaits.

Step 4: Project Management

Once you approve your design, the ordering and project management begins. Our purchasing manager, Michelle, will process your orders and keep you up to date on the status of your project via our online site. We will oversee our trades and collaborate with your contractor (for new builds and renovations) to ensure your home design is cohesive and the process is seamless.

Step 5: Installation

If you opt for one installation day, our interior design team will coordinate deliveries, manage crews, and ensure your room is perfect. We tell our clients to host a party the evening of their install because we know they will want to celebrate it!

The Ultimate Client Experience

At North Shore Nest we believe a seamless client experience is part of a fabulous end result. Our interior design team manages all the details so you can enjoy the process and have a totally YOU space that will serve as the perfect backdrop for your beautiful life.

Our full service design fee begins at $15,000 and has a three room minimum for furnishing projects. For large scale renovations and new construction projects, design fees are based on the size and scope of the project.
